Oh, I so badly needed to hear this today.
As soon as I begin to “put myself out there” in words, the doubt rises up. I shift writing to an obligation in my mind to protect my heart from the fear of the rejection of something I love. Silly me.
“Don’t use [art] to say ‘Here I am!’ Use it to say ‘Here we are. We are ok, you know.'”
